HomeSAT score predictor

SAT score predictor — four modules, a range.

Walk out of Bluebook remembering something like RW1 22/27. Enter how many you got right or missed in each module. See estimated Reading and Writing, Math, and 400–1600 ranges — then plan the gap, not a fake exact score.

SCORE PREDICTOR

Enter your four module counts

Fill all four modules to see an estimated range. Official scores still come from College Board.

This is not an official College Board calculator. Digital SAT scoring uses adaptive Module 2 routing and form equating, so the same counts can land in a band. Pretest items do not count, and you cannot tell which ones they were.

What to enter after the test.

Digital SAT has two Reading and Writing modules and two Math modules. People in score-release threads usually report counts as 22/27, not a 200–800 section score. That is the input this page is for.

Predictor vs calculator vs diagnostic.

Use this predictor for module right/wrong counts. Use the SAT score calculator when College Board or a Bluebook practice test already gave you 200–800 section scores. Use the SAT percentile chart when you only have a total and want a percentile. If you have not sat a full test, take the free diagnostic instead of guessing counts.

Prepful does not promise you will land at the top of the range. The CTA sends you to onboarding so you can build a plan around the midpoint this tool just showed.

Predictor questions

Straight answers before you trust a number.

How does this SAT score predictor work?

Enter correct or missed counts for Reading and Writing Module 1 and 2 (27 questions each) and Math Module 1 and 2 (22 each). Prepful infers whether Module 2 was likely harder or easier from Module 1, then returns a range — not a single official score.

Why a range instead of one number?

The Digital SAT is adaptive and equated by form. College Board does not publish a public raw-to-scale table. Two students with the same right/wrong counts can land a few bands apart. A range is the honest output.

How is this different from the SAT score calculator?

Use the predictor when you only remember module counts from the sitting, like RW1 22/27. Use the SAT score calculator when you already have 200–800 section scores and just need a total and percentile.

Is this an official College Board score?

No. Prepful is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College Board. Wait for the official report. Some questions are pretest items that do not count, and you cannot see which ones they were.

What should I do with the prediction?

Treat the midpoint as a planning number. If you are short of your target, take Prepful's 16-question diagnostic and build a study plan around the gap. This tool does not promise a point gain.
