Which test should you take?
Take a short timed sample of each, compare projections via this converter, and commit to the one where you score better. Most students score within one concordance band on both — but the test that feels better usually scores 30–60 points higher with prep. SAT favors deeper reading and fewer questions per minute; ACT favors fast pacing and science data interpretation.
Should I average SAT and ACT scores?
Don't average them — commit. Spread prep across two tests means you peak at neither.
