Delete your Prepful account.

This page explains how users of Prepful, an SAT and ACT prep app by StudyX Inc., can request deletion of their account and associated app data.

How to request account deletion

Open the Prepful app on iOS or Android.
Go to Me.
Open Account.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm the deletion request in the dialog.

If you cannot access the app, email support@prepful.ai from the email address connected to your Prepful account and include the subject Delete my Prepful account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

What we delete

When your account deletion request is processed, Prepful deletes or de-identifies personal account data, including:

Account profile information such as name, email address, grade, timezone, exam goal, target date, and reminder settings.
Diagnostic, practice, mock test, flashcard, mistake bank, study plan, progress, streak, and XP data tied to your account.
Pax chat threads, messages, and images or question snapshots tied to your account.
Device tokens used for push notifications.

What we may retain

Some data may be retained for limited purposes after deletion:

Payment, invoice, refund, chargeback, and tax records may be retained for up to 7 years where required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Security, abuse-prevention, and audit logs may be retained for up to 24 months to protect Prepful and other users.
Customer support messages related to your deletion request may be retained for up to 24 months so we can document and verify the request.
Aggregated or anonymized analytics that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained indefinitely to improve Prepful's learning content and reliability.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Prepful account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancel your subscription in the store where you purchased it to avoid future charges.

Processing time

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days after verifying the request, unless a longer period is required by law, security review, or billing dispute handling.
